De financiering van een korte animatiefilm is een ingewikkeld verhaal. Het duurt vaak lang voordat het budget rond is om een film van vijf minuten te maken. Met een film als AUDITIE is het zaak zo snel mogelijk te beginnen en direct betrokkenheid te creëren.
Financing a short animated film is tricky business. Usually it takes a while before the sufficient means are found to start animating. In the case of AUDITION we find it important to get the audience involved as soon as possible.

Zeer dankbaar ben ik voor de financiële steun van de audiovisuele fondsen van Gemeente en Provincie Utrecht. Met dit geld en met een grote eigen deel participatie kan de film tot stand komen. De eigen participatie, zoals u begrijpt, komt uit eigen middelen.
A great deal of gratitude goes towards the city and province of Utrecht, they are funding the film. I am also supporting the film myself by participating in the funding. As you can guess this support is coming from my own fanancial means.

Wilt u mij helpen met dit bedrag? Dat wordt zeer gewaardeerd en samen met u steun ik stichting AIDA Nederland. 20% van mijn salaris en gaat direct naar hen.
